I did not want to do a self portrait. My sister kept pressuring me, insisting that it might be my best painting. I never liked doing self portraits with any art medium. I was running out of references so I thought why not give it a shot. The photograph was also taken at The Island School. I was using a waterproof camera and just turned it around. This is my favorite painting from Senior Project. I think I just like how happy and calm I look.
